We can all agree that Adobe’s Photoshop is technically the design industry standard. To some extent this product name became synonym to editing digital images - “to photoshop something/someone”. Regardless of the raster or vector image type, color model, graphic file format, or other details - Photoshop is the tool of choice for experts and amateurs.
The program features an impressive number of tools, which can be expanded further with plug-ins. Even compared to single platform software such as Affinity Photo and Sketch for Mac OS or PaintShop Pro and Paint.NET for Windows, Photoshop CC features a lot more functions, is more responsive, and offers intuitive user interface. Whilst, especially in the long term, Photoshop might not be the cheapest alternative, would you rather pay extra for streamlining your work process or save money to wander through the menus later? After all, the latter has been polished and refined for 25 years.

Here is a short list of the most significant new features and improvements over CS6:
• Updated user interface to streamline your work.
• Performance and responsiveness boost (e.g. Content-Aware Fill delivers results about three times faster)
• Content-Aware Patch and Move/Fill automatically fills in the gaps you create using the surrounding elements as base.
• Font matching enables Photoshop to examine and identify fonts, thus saving time and eliminating human error.
• Face-Aware Liquify - as the name suggests, it allows Photoshop to recognize human faces.
• Creative Cloud Libraries - both your libraries and Adobe Stock are integrated in Photoshop (presets, asset Drag and Drop, sharing, et cetera).
• Customizable toolbar and workspaces - Photoshop’s interface (toolbar configurations) can be modified and saved as a preset.
• Mobile device preview - Adobe Preview CC is an iOS app that enables users to preview web designs in real-time without exiting Photoshop.

The 16th installment of Adobe Photoshop, on contrary to the standalone CS6, is only available in a bundle with other Adobe products via the Creative Cloud subscription. Although certainly pricey in the long term perspective (available in monthly or annual payment plans), it still is a perfect option for users, who are to use it for a short period of time. In addition, CC version, being one of the latest releases, is the only one to receive updates and new features - CS6 was the last one to feature a perpetual license and since 2013 receives only “bug fixes and security updates as necessary”.
Photoshop CC features support for plugins, which enable users to extend and customize software’s functionality according to their needs. Adobe stands behind creation of a large part of them, however there exist quite a few distributed commercially. Although the majority of addons are filter/8bf plugins, quite a few of them offer automation, extended import/export, special effects, color correction, et cetera.

You can purchase Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 discounted license at BuyBestSoft.com. When the official websites and distributors cease the support - we still have them!

Adobe is using a business model for people who makes money from the tool and left home/hobby users out of options; I prepaid one year after finishing the subscription decided to move to Corel Photo paint. Will have to learn again but I prefer that to being drained.

Don't waste your money on Adobe please. Go check out 3rd parties before you sell your you human rights to them.

Adobe no longer makes a boxed copy of Photoshop like they did with CS versions - you MUST purchase a subscription plan. Yes, it is renewed every year. Yes, it is pricey if you are only going to use it once or twice a year. But it is not designed for the average Joe or hobby photographer. This product is for professionals and it is well worth the price for the best software and latest updates. There are even higher priced packages on Adobe's website that run around $50 per month for additional storage and stock photo access. So, this is NOT a ripoff.
